We make training apps for club-level players.
Most training software is written for a general athlete. Sport already has rating systems that describe a player far more precisely, so we started SportsPlan AI to build apps around those instead.
The company
SportsPlan AI Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company based in Kelowna, British Columbia. We run four training apps: TennisPlan AI, PicklePlan AI, GolfPlan AI and HockeyPlan AI. Each has its own brand and its own domain.
We are a small team. A product only goes live once it handles its sport well, which means the right rating scale, drills a coach would recognise and language that sounds normal to someone who plays.
How we work
One sport at a time
We would rather have a pickleball app that pickleball players recommend to each other than a platform that covers twenty sports at surface level.
Real ratings, not guesses
NTRP, DUPR and handicap index already do the hard work of describing a player. Our apps take that number as the starting point.
Progress you can see
A plan that never changes is a PDF. Ours adapt to logged sessions and results, and the app tells them when they have moved up a level.
New sports come slowly
We add a sport when the apps we already run show us it is worth doing. There is no fixed launch calendar.
